1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the provision of psychological therapy services and neurodiversity assessments (collectively, the “Services”) by Thrive Psychological Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to private patients (“you,” “your”). By engaging with our Services, you agree to comply with these terms.

We offer psychological therapy services and neurodiversity assessments, which may include, but are not limited to:
These services are provided by qualified professionals with relevant qualifications and experience.
The provision of these services are not a crisis service. If life is feeling overwhelming, please know that there are healthcare professionals ready to support you. Please firstly try to contact your GP, NHS 111, or attend your local A&E. For emotional support please call The Samaritans on 116 123 or Text "SHOUT" to 85258.
3. Patient Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, psychological concerns, and any other relevant background details necessary for us to provide appropriate services.
All personal data, including medical and psychological records, will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).
4. Booking Appointments
All appointments must be scheduled in advance. You can book an appointment by email phone, or via the links from the website to the online booking system.
Unless otherwise agreed in email, all sessions must be paid for in full before being confirmed by us. This must be done three days before the appointment for therapy sessions and 10 days before for neurodiversity assessments. Sessions not confirmed by full payment will be cancelled.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least three days before the appointment for therapy sessions and 10 days before for neurodiversity assessments.
You may be asked to complete an intake form or provide background information before your first session to ensure that we can offer the best service possible.
5. Fees and Payment
Our fees for psychological therapy and neurodiversity assessments are outlined on our website or will be provided to you before your first session.
Room fees - Standard duration in-person sessions will incur a room charge of £25 per session for London and £10 for Chichester.
Unless otherwise agreed in email, all sessions must be paid for in full before being confirmed by us. This must be done three days before the appointment for therapy sessions and 10 days before for neurodiversity assessments. Sessions not confirmed by full payment will be cancelled.
Payment must be by bank transfer following receipt of invoice.
If your service is covered by insurance, you are responsible for checking whether your policy applies and for obtaining necessary approvals or authorizations. You agree to provide all details to facilitate third-party billing.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
We are committed to maintaining confidentiality regarding your personal and medical information. We will not disclose your information to third parties unless required by law, or unless you provide explicit consent for us to do so.
Your data will be stored securely and only for as long as necessary to provide our services, as required by applicable law.
7. Consent for Treatment
By engaging with our services, you provide consent to participate in therapy or assessments as discussed with you.
For neurodiversity assessments, we will explain the nature and purpose of the assessment, including the process, any potential risks, and the expected outcomes. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
If you are under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent will be required for therapy and/or assessments.
8. No Guarantee of Results
While we strive to provide effective psychological therapy and accurate neurodiversity assessments, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Progress in therapy or assessments can vary from person to person.
You acknowledge that therapy and assessments are processes that require time, and results may not be immediately evident.
9. Liability and Limitations
We will make every reasonable effort to provide a high standard of care, but you acknowledge that psychological services and neurodiversity assessments carry inherent risks. We are not liable for any adverse outcomes or decisions made based on the services provided unless resulting from gross negligence.
You are responsible for making your own decisions based on our guidance and reports, particularly with respect to medical, educational, or occupational decisions.
10. Responsibilities of the Patient
You agree to attend appointments as scheduled and to notify us promptly if you are unable to attend.
You are expected to participate in therapy and/or assessments to the best of your ability and to be honest and forthcoming with relevant information.
If you feel uncomfortable or wish to discontinue therapy or assessment services, you may notify us, and we will support you in finding alternative resources if needed.
11. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate the provision of services to you if we determine that we are unable to assist you, if you fail to comply with our terms, or if you engage in behaviour that is disruptive, harmful, or abusive.
You have the right to discontinue services at any time, but we ask that you provide notice in advance so that we can offer a smooth transition or refer you to alternative services if needed.
12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns or complaints regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly so that we can resolve the matter.
If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, we are open to alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation.
13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may update or amend these terms and conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any changes, and the updated terms will be made available on our website or provided to you upon request.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England
